Michael Lloyd Witsberger (“Mike”), 61, of Elm Grove, passed away on November 26, 2017, as a result of a heart condition. Michael was a son of Ara Jane and the late Melvin L. Witsberger. He is survived, in addition to his mother, by his wife, Susan, of Wheeling and Mike’s son, Ben (Erica) Witsberger and grandson, Luke, of Pittsburgh, PA. Siblings include: Mary Gail (Jim) Moore; Terry (Jim) Edge; Babs (Paul) McCauley; Posie Witsberger; Todd (Kathi) Witsberger and Larry (Kathy) Witsberger. In-laws include: Mary, Charles, David, Thomas, Rose, Joan and Judy. Additionally, he is survived by many nieces, nephews and Witsberger cousins.
‘Pap-Pap Mike’ was a story teller and beamed with pride while talking of his grandson, Luke. He was a retired truck driver, proud Local #697 Teamster and member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Mike enjoyed his Harley-Davidson, his cross country bike trips with buddies and his Ford truck. Mike loved his many pets, carpentry, golfing, hunting, fishing and self-built model train village. Mike was taken from us too early, as he and all his stories will be sadly missed.
At Mike’s request, services will be private. In lieu of flowers please do an act of kindness while thinking of the good times with Mike.
