Missy Ann Grubba, known sometimes to her loving grandchildren as “Papu” or “Pupu”, passed away on June 9th, 2023 in her hometown of Wheeling, West Virginia. She was born on January 5th, 1979, making her 44 years old at the time of her death.

Missy was a clerk at Family Dollar for about 8 months and had a great passion for creative hobbies such as drawing, coloring, and crocheting. She very much enjoyed playing darts and pool at Carin’s Pub, where she was an active member. Missy made many cherished memories and friendships there over the years. She was a diehard Raiders fan and loved watching their games. Missy had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. Others often describe her as selfless and kind hearted.

Missy is survived by her partner, Darrell “Tony” Morgan, her mother Debbie Ryder, her father Earl Thomas “Buster” Grubba, her step-father Mike Campbell. She will be greatly missed by her 3 (three) sons Charles “Alex” Miller, Tayvan Joseph Grubba, Paul “Daniel” Huff Jr., her sisters Teresa Campbell, Amanda Grubba, Ada Grubba, her brothers Daniel (Sierra) Grubba, Tommy Grubba Jr., Earl Thomas Grubba, and brother-in-law Shon Dumas. She was also survived by her step-daughters Keana Morgan, Jazmine Dunn, Cheyan Dunn, and Valerie Morgan, and her granddaughters Lilyanne Miller, Avalia Beever, Lilianne Rose-Lee Huff, and Lilith Morgan, and grandson Axel Odin.

Missy’s family and friends will be holding a visitation on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 from 12:00pm until 6:00pm.
Please join us at Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV 26003.

Missy will always be remembered for her endlessly loving heart and her ability to tell it like it is, even to her own mom! She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

I have so many memories from my childhood that you’re in! I’m pretty sure it was you & your brothers, that taught me how to ride a bike! All of us kids playing along the railroad tracks, by the river. You & I lighting matches, blowing the flame out, & then putting the hot match on our tongues just to hear it sizzle lol. Rest in Peace, Missy. Thank you for being a part of my childhood!
