Nancy Jane Yahn, 88, of Wheeling passed away April 20, 2022 at Wheeling Hospital.
Nancy was born September 17, 1933 in Wheeling WV, daughter to the late Ruth Colley and Roy Lease. Nancy was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother. She worked as a Registered Nurse for nearly forty years at the former Ohio Valley Medical Center, was a member of the Wheeling Area Genealogical Society, was a volunteer for the 18th Street Catholic Charities Center, and helped with RCIA at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. Nancy was a devoted Roman Catholic who would attended Mass at the Cathedral of St. Joseph regularly.
Nancy enjoyed crocheting, knitting, making dollhouses, and restoring vintage dolls. She enjoyed vacationing with her family.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Harold D. (Butch) Yahn; her son Bruce D. Yahn; and her sister Ruth Lease
Nancy is survived by two children, Timothy (Kim) Yahn and Laura Yahn (Paul) Kimbrough; two grandchildren Jessica Quezada and Bruce D. Yahn II; four great grandchildren, Gabriel Quezada, Noa Quezada, Greyson Yahn, and Aubrey Yahn; a sister Karen Sue Miller; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Monday, April 25, 2022 from 9am-10am at the Altmeyer Funeral Home Wheeling- 1400 Eoff St Wheeling
Mass of Christian burial will take place Monday, April 25, 2022 at 10:30 am at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

I am so very sorry for your loss. When I was a new nurse at OVMC on the Orthopaedic unit your mom took me under her wing and taught me so much! I have taken much of her wisdom and love of the nursing profession with me through my career. May God keep you all in His loving arms and bring you all peace.
