TRIBETT, NETTIE T.
Nettie T. Tribett, 87, of Moundsville, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Weirton Medical Center. She was born on July 15, 1929 in Marshall County, WV a daughter of the late Carmino and Rose (D’Agostino) Martino. She was a member of Washington Lands United Methodist Church; where she was a member of the choir; United Methodist Women; Communion Stewardess; Washington Lands Garden Club and Volunteered at Reynolds Memorial Hospital. Nettie retired from the former Ames Department Store in Moundsville after many years of service.
Nettie is survived by her son, Carl David (Dona) Tribett of Wellsburg, WV; a sister, Edith Martino of Columbus, OH; a grandson, Sean Tribett; granddaughters, Emily Tribett, Tiffany Grimm all of Wellsburg, Meagan Perry of Tucson, AZ; a great granddaughter, Tori Francois also of Tucson, AZ; cousins Eva Jurek of Mozart, WV and James Jurek of Newark, OH; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; her beloved church family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles W. (Chuck) Tribett Jr.; a brother, John Martino and two sisters, Levia DiGiando and Mary Bagwell.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant St., Moundsville, WV. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11 am, in Washington Lands United Methodist Church, 242 Frontage Dr., Moundsville, with Reverend Gregg Blair officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

I am sorry for your loss. At such times words that truly comfort are hard to think of, the Bible has these comforting word found at Philippians 4:6&7. The Bible can be a source of comfort. May the family keep in mind that God the Hearer of Prayer (Psalms 65:2) promise to help through these difficult times, if you turn to him in Prayer.
