PLANTS, Olga, 95, of Moundsville, W.Va., died Tuesday, May 8, 2018, in Mound View Nursing Home.

She was born October 11, 1922, in Pine Grove, W.Va. a daughter of the late Clarence O. and Mary R. Davis Huggins. She was a member of the Four Square Church in Moundsville and was retired from the Louis Marx Toy Company. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 3 and the VFW Auxiliary Post 437.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Plants in 1997, one daughter, Doris Jean Doran, four brothers, Clyde Huggins, Clarence P. Huggins, Coy Huggins, and Chester Huggins, and four sisters, Ethel Goodnight, Jessie Ebersole, Sophia Wheeler, and Rubie Wilson.

She is survived by one son, Duane Brown of New Bern, N.C.; one daughter, Gloria Gorby of Masaryktown, Fla.; one sister, Janet Richmond of Moundsville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 11, 2018, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at The Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 10 am with Pastor Robert Muster officiating. Interment will follow in Serenity Views Cemetery, New Martinsville.
