Phyllis Marie (Bargiel) Cook Allen, 91, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on March 27, 2021 in Wheeling, WV.
She was born on November 13, 1929 in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Franczak) Bargiel.
Phyllis was a graduate of the Elliott School of Business, retired from the Ohio County Circuit Court Clerk Office and the Catholic Diocese of Wheeling/Charleston, former member of the Court Carroll Catholic Daughters of America, member of the former St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alton Allen in 1994; brothers, Joseph, Theodore, Michael, Stanley and Alexander Klamut; sisters, Josephine Spencer, Amelia Pagot, Wanda Bidka, Anna M. Bargiel, Frances Bargiel and two Klamut infant siblings.
Survivors include her two daughters, Marie (Frank) Canziani of San Diego, CA and LeAnn Cook of St. Clairsville, OH; grandchildren, Joshua (Erin) Canziani of San Diego, Samantha (Mark) Romasoc of San Diego; four great-grandchildren, Zackary and Bradley Canziani of San Diego and Efren “EJ” and Ethan Romasoc of San Diego.
friends will be received from 10am until time of mass at 11am on Tuesday, March 30 2021 at St. Michael Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Wiley serving as Celebrant.
Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
