Rene’ Marie Turner, 59 of Wheeling, WV died Friday, March 4, 2016 at her residence. She was born June 13, 1956 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Leo and Mary (Socha) Pavlic. She was a cook at the Bob Evans Restaurant for many years and a Catholic by faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Len Pavlic. Surviving are two sons, Jason P. Turner and Jeff J. Turner both of Wheeling; a sister, Charlotte (Pete) Norman of Wheeling; a brother, Marty (Yandel) Pavlic of Winfield, WV; a grandson, Bentley Turner; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs, Max and Smores. Rene’ was a very dedicated worker with a high work ethic, at Bob Evans she was a friend to all. She was a very enthusiastic sport fan, she loved Notre Dame, San Francisco 49’ers and North Carolina Tarheel Basketball. She was very compassionate to her sons and grandson and a dedicated mother. She will be deeply missed by her family. Friends will be received 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, March 11, 2016 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling.
