May God bless the Alley family at this time. Even though I’m a second cousin, I always referred to Rex and Doris as Uncle Rex and Aunt Doris. They never corrected me because . . . well, that’s just how my great aunts’ kids were raised. So kind. So generous. Salt of the earth kind of people. Rest in peace, Uncle Rex.

Uncle Rex was such a fabulous uncle. He always was smiling. Great memories I cherish and often tell others of visits and meals with him and grandma and hunting on the farm on Jackson Ridge, fishing on his boat and all the family gatherings he never missed. He loved his family and we all loved him.

Rex is one of those “Cousins” that you will never forget. Him, my brother Alan, and sister Patty were on Fish Creek all the time as we had a camp located there. All summer they would be at it fishing and hunting in the fall, and having a good time. You are now with God in Heaven so “SOAR HIGH” and tell him about life on Fish Creek. Love You “Cuzzin” Rex”and you will be sadly missed but never be forgotten.

Many good memories of Uncle Rex, including playing catch , getting dumped off the back of his motorcycle, riding in his white Ford convertible, Memorial Day reunions. and many more. A great guy!
