Richard Paul Szafran, 77 of Wheeling, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in Liza’s Place. He was born on December 30, 1938 in Wheeling a son of the late Joseph and Thelma (Anderson) Szafran. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the P.A.P. Club.
He is survived by his daughter, Sumer (Sam) Vucelick of Wheeling; son, Chance Szafran of NC; grandchildren, Sebastian and Darian Vucelick; Anna Hickman, Aidin and Weston Szafran and a brother, Francis (JoAnne) Szafran.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Walter Szafran.
