Robert Allen Grandstaff, 66, of Wheeling, died Thursday, November 29, 2018 at OVMC.
He was born July 19, 1952 in Wheeling, son of the late Charles and Frances Good Grandstaff.
Robert was owner of the former Grandstaff Brothers Roofing and Heating Co., in Wheeling.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, where online condolences may be extended to the family at

My sincerest condolences to family and friends for your loss. My heart is broken as well with Bob’s passing. He was one of my favorite people and always will be. I have never met such a good-hearted, fun loving, all around good guy. He will live on in my heart until we meet again.

This tore me up when I heard this yesterday. Took me till now to do this. I worked for Bob many years and he was one of the best bosses you’d ever want. Bob was one of the best people you’d ever meet. BOB GRANSTAFF AND GRANSTAFF BRO ROOFING AND HEATING WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. REST IN PEACE BOB YOU WILL TRULY BE MISSED. I am very sorry to learn that Bob passed. I knew him for many years, and while we were not always in close touch, I enjoyed his company. He never failed to make me laugh. He was a sweet man and I will miss him. I’m sorry to all of you for your loss.

We were so sorry to hear of Bobs passing. We always enjoyed talking with him at the baseball fields. So many good memories. He was a great guy and will be remembered fondly. God bless him . Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Joe and Carmel Safcsak
