Robert “Bob” Stephen Clayton, 71, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville, PA. He was born June, 09 1945 in Moundsville, son of the late Robert and Eileen (Church) Clayton. Robert  spent 38 years working as an operator for Bayer, until his retirement, he was an US Navy Veteran, loved to hunt and fish, enjoy spending time with his family and “Robb” loved to ride his Harley Davidson with his loving wife through the back roads of beautiful WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mary Jane Spiering.

Survivors include, his loving wife of 24 years, Deborah (Spiering) Bosley Clayton; children, Rob Clayton and his girlfriend Melinda Ratcliffe of Moundsville and Natalie(Tim) Bailey of New Cumberland, WV; step-son, Joshua Bosley of New Martinsville, WV; six precious grandchildren, Robbie W. Clayton, Loran Clayton, Kyle Butera, Regan Butera, Gracie Bosley and Hudson Bosley; father in-law, Thomas Spiering Sr. of PA; sister-in-law, Pamela Spiering of VA and two brother-in-laws, Thomas Spiering Jr. and his wife Pam of VA and Kirt Spiering of PA.  Friends will be received on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11am with Pastor Bill Henthorn officiating.
