Robert J. “Kup” Kupchak, 84, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Bishop Hodges Continuous Care Center.
He was born July 16, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Charlie and Josephine Kupchak.
Bob was a retired salesman with the Warner-Lambert Co., and was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church, where he was a reader.  He was a stellar basketball player for Wheeling High School, played baseball for the American Legion, loved fishing and the game of golf.   Bob served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy “Dottie” Hedinger Kupchak, three children; Karen Delbert and her husband Rick, of Wheeling, Kathy Berlinsky and her husband Mike, of Pittsburgh, and Bobby Kupchak of Wheeling.
He has three grandchildren; Nicole Marie Paree, Kara Lea Michalski and her husband Brandon, and Tony Delbert and his wife BJ and their daughter Gracie Lea.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger St., Wheeling, where prayer services will be held at 7:00pm with Monsignor Bakhos Chidiac officiating.
