Ronald Harold Norris, 81, of Moundsville, WV passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at Heartland Nursing Home, Lansing, OH. He was born November 6, 1933, in Marshall County, WV to the late Harley and Pearl Norris. Ronald was employed by Fostoria Glass Company for over 30 years, retired custodian from Reynolds Memorial Hospital, member of Hillview Terrace Church of Christ and an US Army Veteran, which was stationed in France and Germany where he was an Arms Inspector. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Norris. Ronald is survived by his wife, Melva Ann (Metz) Norris of Moundsville; sister, Phyllis (Semon) Prado of Moundsville; brother, James (Patty) Norris of Proctorsville, OH; two nieces, Vicky and Connie and two nephews, Danny and Ricardo Prado. Friends will be received Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from noon until the time of service at 1pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, WV with Mr. Gene West officiating. Interment will follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, Sherrard, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Virginia School of Preaching, 1 Willard Avenue, Moundsville, WV 26041.
