Rosalie L. Oliver, 67, Of Glen Dale, WV, died Sunday, October 23, 2016 at her residence.

She was born on January 24, 1949, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late Louis G. and Laura (Sigler) Baum, Sr.

In addition to her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by a brother, Louis G. Baum, Jr.

Rosalie was a retired teacher at Cameron Elementary School where she was known as Mrs. Baskin.  She was a member of the Glen Dale United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir.  She was also a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Miriam Chapter No. 1.

Surviving are her husband, Frank L. Oliver; two daughters, Jennifer Polley Webb of Atlanta, GA and Julie R. Polley of Glen Dale; four grandchildren, Jameson B. Polley, Kenneth “K.J.” Wilkinson, Jr., D.R. Poe, and Lindsey Poe.

Friends will be received Tuesday, October 25, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave Moundsville, where services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. John Morrison officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the House of Carpenter, 200 S. Front Street, Wheeling or West Liberty University Foundation, Inc., 208 University Drive, College Union Box 126, West Liberty, WV 26074,  designated for the Choral Trip.
