Rose J. Edge

February 7, 1940 - September 30, 2018

02/07/1940 - 09/30/2018

Rose Jeanette Edge walked the streets of gold to her mansion in the sky on September 30th, 2018. She passed on peacefully with her loving husband of 55 years, Jerry, by her side.

She was a long-time member of Abundant Life Baptist Church and enjoyed crafting, camping, shopping, dining out and spending time with family and friends.

She loved all of God’s creatures but was especially fond of kitty cats and always had several babies in her home.

Special nephew and niece, Tom and Tracy Keys, wish to thank HCR ManorCare and Heartland Hospice, both of Barberton, OH, for their love and care as well as longtime neighbors, Kim and Skip, for their friendship, love and assistance over the years.

Cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time. Any messages to the family may be posted to Altmeyer Funeral Homes and any donations in Rose’s name may be directed to your local animal shelter.

I was sorry to read about the loss of your dear loved one. The bible gives us hope of seeing them again in the promised resurrection according to these scriptures [John 5:28-29] and [Acts 24:15]. We find further hope in [Isaiah chapter 25:8] and [Revelations 21:3-5] which says in part that Jehovah God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, by swallowing up death forever. I hope these scriptures will be of some comfort.
Sincere Condolences.

My name is Tracy Keys and I am married to Tom Keys who is Jerry’s sister Helen’s son making Jerry and Rose my aunt and uncle. The very day Tom took me down to WV to meet Rose about 21 years ago I thought and still think she was the very dearest person I have ever known. We lost an angel and she will surely be missed. Please keep Jerry in mind as he is grieving her loss but know that he is doing rather well considering. (Have to add that he is the second dearest person I l know:)
