Menard, Rosell Clifford, 85, of Wheeling, WV formerly of Rutherford, NJ, passed peacefully at the Good Shepherd Nursing home, Wheeling.

He was born March 1, 1932 in Spencer, MA, the son of the late Arsene (Rosell) Menard and Gertrude Hunt Menard.

Rosell was retired from APA Transport, Ironworkers & Teamsters Local 560 & 617, and was a Veteran Sargent in the US Army during the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mae Ann (Tackney) Menard, a daughter, Donna Menard, and a sister Marion Welton.

Surviving are Rosell’s daughter, Karen (Andrew) Fasouletos of Moundsville, WV a brother, Kenneth Menard of NY, two grandchildren, Tena (Corey) Stricklin of Dallas, WV and Michael (Kerry) Fasouletos of Kingwood, WV.  Rosell is also survived by six Great Grandchildren Karleigh Stricklin, Zoe Fasouletos, Kyla Stricklin, Ayla Fasouletos,  Andi Fasouletos,  and Keira Stricklin.  He is survived by two sister-in-laws: Lillian (Ron) Peterson of Georgia & Lynda (Jimmy) Brinksma of Rutherford, NJ.  Rosell had many special nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews from Rutherford, NJ.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday July 19th, 2017 from 3-6 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street where services will be held on Thursday July 20, 2017 at 11 am.  Interment will be held with full military honors at 1:30 pm at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.,
