Rosemary Cihy, 91, of Wheeling, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Country Club Retirement Campus, Bellaire, OH.
She was born July 6, 1924 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Bober Ryan.

Rosemary was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Cihy in 2012, 3 brothers; Frank Bober, John Bober and Joseph Ryan, and 3 sisters; Helen Dunzath, Virginia Munjas and Josephine Shapaka.

Rosemary is survived by 3 children; Edward J. Cihy and his wife, Linda K. of Wheeling, Mark A. Cihy and his wife, Denise of Ona, WV, M. Michelle Wendell and her husband, Jack of Columbus, OH, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, WV, during which time a vigil service will be held at 6:30pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Doug Ondeck as celebrant.

Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
