Our mom, Ruth Ann Hinerman, went to heaven to join our dad, Jack Hinerman, on January 20, 2022.
She was born in November 1937 in Moundsville, WV. Mom was the perfect example of a loving mother, wife, and friend to all. She was the glue which held our family together. Mom was a wonderful cook and loved to host family parties and other gatherings. She had a gift for writing poems which were heart felt and cherished by many. She was honored when she was asked to share one of her poems at the “Support Our Troops” rally at the JM football stadium in February, 1991. Mom was hard working, kind, and had a great sense of humor. We all sure will miss her quick wit and beautiful smile.
Mom was welcomed into heaven by her parents, John and Gladys; and her two sisters, Helen Pape and Janice Huggins. She’ll be greatly missed by her children who were blessed beyond measure to have her as their mom: Jackie (Ken) Cunningham, Bud (Karen) Hinerman, Bill (Andrea) Hinerman, and Becky Hinerman. She was a loving “Mammy” to her grandchildren: Beau (Danielle) Martin, Justin (Leslie) Hinerman, Amanda (Ray) Creede, Taylor (Katey) Zink, Callie Poling, and Kobe Poling; and great-grandchildren: Annie, Jack, and Jordyn Martin, Otto and Ivan Hinerman, and Silas and Macie RaeAnn Creed; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are welcome to pay respects on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the service beginning at 1 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, WV. Dear Becky, Jackie and all, Remembering the good times. Brought out the photos from the ” luau ” Ruth housted for us girls before our Hawaiian excursion. Complete with the hula dancers, and of course a poem. She was a hoot! Your loss is heaven’s gain. Love and prayers for all.
Becky, Bill, Buddy & Jackie, my heartfelt condolences go out to all of you. I was so sad when Bill text me to tell me of your moms passing. Ruth Ann was such a kind lovely woman with a smile always on her face. May God wrap his loving arms around all of you, and give you peace & comfort during this difficult time. I can picture everyone up there from the House of Prayer Archie preaching, your dad on guitar, Eula on the organ, your mom, Olive & the rest singing, praising, and laughing in the Lord, what a wonderful sight that would be! God Bless you all!
My sincerest condolences. Prayers and hugs for all of you.
Cousin Ruth Ann has always been a surrogate sister, a loving relative and friend. She was pure joy with her laughter, wit, and good humor. She exuded nothing but kindness for life’s fellow travelers. Rosemary and I will surely miss her and her loving ways. Buddy, Jackie, Bill, and Becky, may your remembrances of her comfort you and bring you peace. God rest her soul along with her husband, Jack.

Sending my deepest condolences and prayers to the family during this time, and may Ruth rest in peace.
I was blessed to have known Ruth through Ken and Jackie. She will be surely missed but I take comfort in that she is now reunited with Jack, the love of her life. She was a diamond.
So sorry, Jackie, Beau, Taylor, and all the Hinerman family to hear of your mom and grandmother’s passing. I didn’t know her very well, but all the times we were around her she was so cheerful; you could see how much she loved her family. I know how close you all are and how hard it will be without her. You have our deepest sympathy!
Rest in peace Ruth, you will be very much missed !
