Ruth Ellen King

Ruth Ellen King, 77, of McMechen, WV died Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital.  She was born Jan. 19, 1939 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late John and Geneva (Carpenter) Barton.  She was a retired employee at Reynolds Memorial Hospital with many years of service and was a member of First Christian Church, McMechen.   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri McGinnis; a brother, John Barton and a sister, Barbara Bell.  Surviving are her beloved husband of 61 years, Howard W. King of McMechen; a son, Roger King of McMechen; 2 daughters, Margaret King of Benwood and Elizabeth (Donald) Anderson of Wheeling; a sister, Geneva (Bill) Hupp of McMechen; 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  Friends will be received Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm with Rev.
