Sandra Kay Liddle, 74, of Wheeling, WV, passed away surrounded by her family and friends on Saturday evening, December 16, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital.
Sandra was born June 24, 1943, to the late George Earl and Bertha Gabel Riley. Since that day, her hands were forever at work. She was a caretaker of her family and community, the loving wife of 47 years to her husband, Raymond Liddle and a caring mother to her oldest son, Raymond Liddle II, her daughter, Denise Liddle-Vinka and her younger son, Scott Liddle.
At the time of her passing, Sandra was preceded in death by her sisters, Gloria Gruber and Pauline Counsler and her beloved friend, Marge Bohman.
Surviving are her sisters; Marlene Ham and Shirley Tingler; as well as her grandchildren; MarQuese Liddle, Rachelle Williams, Kaitlyn Liddle, Briana Liddle and Kiarah Vinka; her great grandchildren; Eli Goddard and Cameron Jones; numerous nieces and nephews and her life long friend, Jewel Monroe.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 10:00am until time of services at 12noon at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, with Life Celebrant, Sarah Barickman officiating.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
