Sara Ann (Killeen) Yoho Baker, 92, formerly of Wheeling Island, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born in Wheeling, February 7, 1924, a daughter of the late Bernard and Bessie (Rose) Killeen.
Sara was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy, former member of Blessed Trinity Parish and retired from Robrecht Produce. She was an avid tennis player and a 20 year volunteer at Good Shepherd Nursing Home and loved spending time with her grandchildren and working in her yard.
In addition to her parents, Sara is preceded in death by her son, Bernard W. Yoho; grandson, Scott Yoho and five siblings, BJ Killeen, Martha Brandfass, Janey Welling, Bob Killeen and Helen Morgan.
She is survived by her five children, Gary (Georgeann) Yoho of Charlotte, NC, Dennis Yoho of Wheeling, Marsha (Harry) Porter of Colerain, OH, Corine (Kirk) Brooks of Las Vegas, NV and Cliff (Lori) Baker of Kansas; nineteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received Sunday, July 10, 2016, from 4 -8 pm, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Wheeling Chapel, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Monday, July 11, at 11:45am at Good Shepherd Nursing Home with Fr. John Beckley S.M. serving as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
Memorial contributions can may be made to Good Shepherd Nursing Home Activities or to a charity of your choice.

Sorry for your loss. The best friend that a bereaved family can have is our Heavenly Father, God. He invites you to throw all your burdens on him, and he will sustain you in this time of grief.
