Sarah “Sally” J. Witzberger, 70, of Moundsville, passed away on September 20, 2021 at the Continuous Care Center – Wheeling Hospital.

She was born on July 1, 1951 to Leonard and Rita Carroll-Waters in Pittsburgh, PA. Sarah worked as a Supervisor for the Wheeling Island Casino for 13 years and The Meadowlands – Washington, PA where she retired.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband “Tom” Michael Witzberger.

Sarah is survived by her two sons: Michael Witzberger of Moundsville, WV, Christopher Witzberger of Moundsville, WV, daughter Michelle Witzberger of Valley Grove, WV, sister, Rita (Andy) Tutino of Pittsburgh, PA, two granddaughters: Kadence and Sarah Witzberger of Moundsville, WV.

She was devoted to her family and friends, and her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren. She always made time for others. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

There will be no visitation, a private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Mount Calvary Cemetery – Wheeling, WV.

Michelle, Mike and Chris.So very sorry for loss of your mom She was a wonderful kind person I call my close friend. We shared so many great memories I will always remember. I am blessed to have had her in my life she aways gave to others her time to listen, laugh and cry.
