Sharon Ruth Rosemeier, 71, of Triadelphia, WV, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018, in Wheeling Hospital.

Sharon was born October 16, 1947, in Galloway, WV, a daughter of the late Oren George and Ruth (Payton) Swiger. She was a retired bus driver for Ohio County Schools; and a Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, William M. “Bill” Rosemeier, in 2014; three sisters, Jean, Betty & Judith; and two brothers, John & Tom. She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Bare of OH, Cheryl Danehart of WV and Charles “Chuck” Danehart, Jr. of Triadelphia; a sister, Sandra Phares; a brother, David “Junior” Pyles; and four grandchildren, Mason, Chance, Jessica & Jeff.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, Tuesday, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, where funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, with the Rev. Keith Forkey officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.

Sharon was an awesome bus driver, always kind and fun! She was all the time happy as a driver. I rode her bus from 1979 to 1981. My deepest condolences to her friends and family

The pain I feel is hard to put into words. The loss of my brother’s mother is among the worst. It hurts that the family must endure this final, painful moment. My only consolation is that the long struggle is over and now Sharon can find peace. I hope that they can find some solace in that as well.
