Shirley A. Waryck, 85, of Glen Dale, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at home with family.
She was born April 2, 1932, a daughter of the late Wilfred G. and Elizabeth (Weidman) LaRue. Shirley was an active member of St. Jude Catholic Church, as well as The Eagles Aerie Post #499. She retired as a Ward Secretary from Reynold’s Memorial Hospital. She loved her family deeply and above all enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by one brother, Raymond LaRue; two sisters, Margaret LaRue and Carol Tubaugh; and mother-in-law, Ann Waryck.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Edward “Junior” Waryck, of 64 years; two daughters, Beth (Brian) Carey of Deer Park, TX, and Mary (Lee) Rush of Bridgeport, OH; one brother-in-law, Arthur Waryck; three grandchildren, Michel (James) Littlefield, Leslie (Travis) Tibbitt and Patrick (Jessica) Carey; six great-grandchildren; life-long friends, Irene Yocum, and Wayne and Linda Bero and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the first responders that assisted Shirley in her time of need.
Family and friends will be received Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11 am for a memorial mass at St. Jude Catholic Church, 710 Jefferson Ave., Glen Dale, with Fr. Antony Raju officiating.

Even the last time you were in for Mr, I asked if you knew who I was, You said, Ernie Lou, how the help are you. May you rest easy in the loving arms of Jesus.

I haven’t seen Shirley in many years, but have often wondered how she was doing. I remember her from working at RMH. She was always so nice. Deepest sympathy to all of you. I will miss her.
