MYSLIWIEC, Stanley A. “Sam”, 91, of Moundsville, W.V., passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale,WV.
Stanley was born February 26, 1925, in Moundsville, a son to the late Andrew Sr. and Aniela (Chwajta) Mysliwiec. He was a 42 year retired Operator for Triangle Conduit, Glen Dale and a member of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Moundsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his five sisters, Helen Robertson, Sophie Byser, Blanche Kielbasa, Frances Elston and Stella Richmond; four brothers, Peter Mysliwiec Sr., Andrew Mysliwiec Jr., baby brother, Stephen Mysliwiec and John Mysliwiec.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mildred (Kielbasa) Mysliwiec of Moundsville; several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Marvin Hoyt of Moundsville.
Friends will be received Monday, May 30, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm with a Rosary service at 7pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 10am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville with Rev. That Son Ngoc Nguyen serving as celebrant.
Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
