Steven Dale Kortepeter, 70, of Wheeling, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born October 26, 1946 in Wheeling, a son of the late Dale and Anne Goyak Kortepeter.
Steven was retired from Axcera as a manager, was Catholic by faith and was a veteran of the Army.
In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Lowe.
He is survived by his former wife, Joyce Kortepeter of Canonsburg, PA, 2 sons; Steven Kortepeter, Jr. of Boston, VA and Christopher Kortepeter of Canonsburg, a sister; Kim Jafrate and her husband, Tom of Wheeling, 2 nieces, Leanne Jafrate, Stacie Lowe Toto and a nephew, Rick Lowe.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 1:00pm until time of services at 3:00pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, WV.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
