Sue Carolyn Mott, 78, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
She was born November 25, 1944, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Bernice (Barr) Pelkey. Sue was a Lutheran by faith. She worked as a phlebotomist for Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital and later retired as a County Clerk for the Ohio County Clerk Office. Sue was a long time volunteer with the Ambulance Corp/Greater Valley in Sayre, PA.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by significant other, Edward Weith Jr. and a son, Richard Mott II.
Sue is survived by her four children, Mary (John) Sobol of Waverly, NY, Barbara (Sam) Sloat of Sayre, PA, David (Judy) Hallett of Waverly, NY and Michele Emmick of Kirkwood, PA; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jill and Sean Beaver and their family for all of their love, support and compassion given over the years.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
