Suzanne Elizabeth (Burger) Cook, 68, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born October 2, 1947 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Charles and Angela Marion (Weidman) Burger.
Suzanne was retired from Gwynn Advertising and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Warwood where she was a member of the Corpus Christi Ladies Guild.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Robert Cook of Wheeling; children, Jennifer Cook of Wheeling and Matthew Cook of Morgantown, WV; two sisters, Linda J. Burger of Wheeling and Pam (Tom)  Zinn of Columbus, OH; brother, Charles H. Burger of Wintersville, OH and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-9p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, where a Vigil Service will be held at 3:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Warwood WV.
Interment will follow Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.

Bob, Jenn, & Matt…Sending our deepest sympathay during this painful & difficult time. We have so many wonderful memories of the Cook”s and the Hall’s on holidays, birthday parties, cookouts, amazing beach vacations & my wedding (which was a total surprise to me & it truly meant the world to me). All of you have became our 2nd family; we are so blessed to have you in lives. May you cherish your memories & always keep them close to your heart. Love, Elissa & Maddie

Bob, Jenn, & Matt: Sending our deepest sympathy to all of you during this painful & difficult time. So many warm memories of the Cooks and the Halls at holidays, birthdays, cookouts, Saturday nights, amazing beach vacations & my wedding (which was a pleasant surprise & it truly meant the world to me). Through the years, you guys have went from friends to family & Suzy was like a 2nd mom to me. I am truly going to miss her. May you cherish your memories and always keep them close to your heart. In memory of my wonderful sister-in law. Suzy was such an amazing, loving, caring, special, and beautiful person. I am blessed to have her in my life. I have so many wonderful memories of times spent with Suzy. Holidays, family get together’s, playing cards, going to the movies, etc. I will miss you dearly.
