Tammy  J. (Boring) Gregg, 62, of Wheeling died Monday, September 19, 2022, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home after battling cancer for 23 years.  She was born in Wheeling on June 16, 1960 and was a Catholic by faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ella Boring, and her brother, Franklie Boring.  Surviving are four sons, Paul, Jared, Chad and Hayden, one daughter, Leighanne Gregg, her fiance’ Ron Childers, a grandson, Landon, two sisters, Candy Fahey and her husband Gene, Keri Schultz and her husband Eric, her nephews and nieces, Marcus, Kyle and Alyssa George, and Kai (Annie) and Kalei Schultz, two great nieces Adara and Isla and a great nephew, Ayden

In following Tammy’s wishes, there is no visitation.  Friends are invited to a celebration of life on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 5-7 at the Knights of Columbus, 118 Edgington Lane, Wheeling.

Arrangements by Altmeyer Funeral Homes, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling.

My sincere sympathy to Tammy’s family. She was such a sweet lady. Enjoyed many great conversations with her when she was the cleaning lady at the funeral home. Wishing you all the blessing of many memories.

It seems like only yesterday that Tammy and Frankie and I were at Clay School together, and yet it has been many years. May her quiet strength surround her family and may her memory be a blessing to them.
