Terry Wayne Fonner, 62, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, with his loving daughters by his side.
He was born on January 4, 1959, in Washington County, PA, son of the late Norman and Mary Lou (Carroll) Fonner.
Terry was a coal miner for Consol Coal an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, twin brothers and two grandchildren, Adam McDaniel III and Mary Isabelle McDaniel.
Surviving are his children, Jimmi McDaniel of Moundsville, Amanda (Bryan) Liggett of Moundsville, Terry Fonner II of Florida, Chanel (Chester) Forgen of PA and Steve (Fran) Bartolovich of Elm Grove, WV; sister, Peggy Fonner of OH; brother, Jerry (Laura) Fonner of Dallas, WV; 11 grandchildren, Autumn, Zane, Makyla, Averi, Tristan, Gauge, Brookelyn, Chase, Kaitlynn, Lainey and Steven and a special nephew, Norman Fonner.
Friends will be received on Friday, December 17, 2021, from 3pm until time of services at 7pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville.

Jimmi and Mandi, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. Girls always have a special bond with our fathers. I’m sure Nan and Grandma Peg are up there giving him an earful. Love you both.

We grew up near each other and visited a lot when we were children. He and I were the same age so we also attended school together. As we got older we did not see each other much but I have very fond memories of those early years.
