Thomas Robert Beihl, 89 of Wheeling, WV died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 8, 1927 in Wheeling, a son of the late Howard and Clara (Buchwald) Beihl. Thomas was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Church, a member of the Masonic Order and worked as a Foreman at Bloch Brothers Tobacco Company for 48 years until he retired. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Hostutler) Beihl; a sister, Wilma Beiswenger; and 2 brothers, Louis and Charles Beihl. Surviving are two daughters, Susan C. Beihl of Wheeling, Betsy (Michael) Holderman of St. Clairsville, OH; a granddaughter, Krista (Paul) Easthon of St. Clairsville, OH and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 9:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Beiswenger Chapel, South Wheeling with Pastor Michael Eskridge officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
