Mrs. Humphrey paid special attention to my brother and I through our years at St. James, and beyond. She had a remarkable impact on our early character, and her presence was always felt in our lives. I will cherish her love and humor, stories, and time spent with us.

I have many sweet memories of Mrs. Humphrey thru the last 30 years. She was a dear friend to me and our family. It was always a joy to see her on Sunday mornings at St. James and share what was happening in our lives. I will miss her smile and sense of humor. Mrs. Humphrey was a very strong Christian women who shared her love of Christ and a true blessing to many. May you rest enternally in peace.

I was sorry to read about the loss of your dear loved one. The bible gives us hope of seeing them again in the promised resurrection according to these scriptures [John 5:28-29] and [Acts 24:15]. We find further hope in scriptures such as [Isaiah 25:8] and [Revelations 21:3-5] which says in part that Jehovah God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, because God will swallow up death forever. I hope these scriptures will be of some comfort.
Sincere Condolences.

Ms. Humphrey was like a grandmother to my brother and me. I have countless memories of walking into the Fellowship Hall to and seeing her, always ready to share a hug or a story. She would give us money for donuts sometimes, which was always a fun surprise. Of the people who have made a meaningful impact on my life and my journey of faith, Jenny Humphrey was one who, from the very beginning, remained always supportive and loving. She was a major figure in my family of faith and I do not find words sufficient to describe her impact on my development as a person. I will remain always grateful for her presence in my life. May she rest in the eternal peace of Christ, and may light perpetual shine upon her.
