Wanda Regina (Dudek) Horvath, 95, formerly of Benwood, WV passed away Friday, September 2, 2017, at Peterson Rehabilitation Center, Wheeling WV.
She was born January 28, 1922, in Wheeling, the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Kowalski) Dudek.
Wanda was a homemaker and a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, Benwood.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alex Horvath; daughter, Christine Horvath; brother, Casmire Dudek and sisters, Isabelle Habernas and Connie Battista.
Surviving are her son, Gary Horvath and his fiancée, Debbie Kessler of Wheeling; brother, Alfred Dudek of Wheeling; nephews, Bob Battista, Allen Batista; Mark Battista , Larry Petras, David Dudek and Richard Habernas and nieces, Diane Mischel and Lois Bryan.
Friends will be received on Friday, September 8, 2017, from 10 am until 10:45 am at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Benwood/McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall Street McMechen. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 8, 2017, at 11 am at St. James Catholic Church, McMechen, WV with Rev. Arul serving as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.

Gary,
Sincere condolences on the passing of your mom. I remember how nice she and your dad were to me the first time I met them on a Xmas day many years ago. Pat and I are in Florida dodging a hurricane or I would stop be to see you in person. Best to Debbie also…………………….Frank Boso
