William “Bo” Mox, 85 of Wheeling, WV passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

Bo was born to the late Marian and Ethel (East) Mox on May 18, 1937.

As a lifelong resident of the Ohio Valley, Bo’s life touched and left a lasting impact on many individuals in the area. Bo was a Catholic by faith and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio.  He was a proud football player and graduate of Linsley Military Academy. After graduation, he served his country through the US Marine Corps. Bo made a great career with Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal in Operations until he retired in 2007. Of all that Bo accomplished in his life, he was most proud of being a husband to his loving wife, Carolyn, for over fifty six (56) years as well as a father, grandfather and great grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Bo is preceded in death by three (3) siblings; Mildred Elliott, Bill Frame and Jean Bartsch.

Left to cherish his memory and carry his legacy are his devoted wife, Carolyn (Adams) Mox, his children; Terri (Greg) Reynolds, Douglas (Lisa) Mox, and Thomas (Dr. Jennifer) Mox, four (4) grandchildren; Emily, Tyler, Crystal and Micheal and great grandchild, Kaden as well as several very special nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Friday, July 29, 2022, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm  at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St. Wheeling, WV. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Wheeling, WV.

Carolyn and family:
To all of you my sincere sympathy for your loss . It is an understatement to say that he was truly special. His love of fun and people is so characteristic of him but does not surpass the model of love he continually demonstrated for you Carolyn, his children and grandchildren .
My life is enhanced by his friendship and his presence is terribly missed.

Bo was retired when I started at Kalkreuth, but he visited quite often. He was a pleasant, funny man that always made me smile. My sympathies to Carolyn and his family. May he rest in peace.
