BONAR, Wilma Kathleen, 95, of Moundsville, W.Va. died Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born August 21, 1920, in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of the late Audley Crooke and Marjorie Lee (Haynes) Newlon. She was a member of the Ash Avenue Church of God in Moundsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters,Ruby, Elizabeth, Margarite, Marjorie, and Thelma.
Wilma is survived by one son, Jerry (Karen) Bonar of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; two daughters, Kathleen (Jerry) Zien of Cameron, W.Va., and Judy Velimirovic of Moundsville; two brothers, Charles Newlon of Benwood, W.Va., and Bill Newlon of Seaford, Del.; seven grandchildren, Tracy, Marcy, Brian, John, Rusty, Jill, and Josh; nine great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandson; several nieces, nephews, friends, and family; and her caretakers, Sadonna Blake and Brittany South.
Friends will be received on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, W.Va., where funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 1 pm with Rev. C.J. Plogger officiating. Interment will follow in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens in Sherrard,
W.Va.
