Altmeyer Funeral Homes is pleased to welcome Ronald A. Witt, Jr. to our team of funeral professionals. Ron has been an active member of the Ohio Valley community and brings his many years of experiences and connections to the Altmeyer Funeral Home family.
Ron is a graduate of West Liberty University and holds an MBA from West Virginia University. Ron has an extensive background in sales, hospitality and tourism dating back to 1991 when he began working for Oglebay Resort in various capacities. Ron worked for the Wheeling National Heritage Area Corporation and was the first manager of the Wheeling Artisan Center. He also worked as the Executive Director, Alumni Affairs at WLU for 24 years, supporting his alma mater and being active in the Ohio Valley community. In addition, Ron has been a licensed Realtor in West Virginia with Kennen & Kennen Realtors since 2012.
