Sandy has been with Altmeyer Funeral Homes for more than 10 years as a funeral assistant. Prior to working at the funeral home, Sandy was an accounts payable clerk at Wheeling Pittsburg Steel for 38 years.
Sandy is active at her church, Macedonia Baptist Church, serving in several capacities including their Women’s Ministry. She also served as a trustee and their financial secretary. Sandy enjoys supporting her community in a variety of ways. She volunteers at the Wheeling Soup Kitchen, the Salvation Army Bell Ringers and is a member of the Wheeling NAACP.
Sandy has one son, Shawn who is married to Elaine. She has two granddaughters and one great-grandson.
